LA MIRADA -- The So Cal Shepherds (9-3, 9-3) swept a doubleheader against the Inland Valley Pirates (5-6, 8-10) Saturday at Biola University.

The Shepherds won the first game of the day 12-2.

Austin Caulk had a big day, blasting a home run and two RBI, while scoring twice.

Tony Rosario and Garrett McIntyre each added two RBI.

Philip Wall tossed six innings and earned the win, allowing only one run.

Dominic Campeau tallied two hits for the Pirates.

Game 2 was much closer, but the Shepherds held on 4-3.

Chad Ragland ripped in two RBI and Sebastian Dunn scored twice.

Dennis Hildebrandt homered and finished with two RBI and one run scored.

The Shepherds are off until next Saturday when they host the Ventura County Pirates in a doubleheader.

Inland Valley plays again on Sunday against the Signal Hill Oilers at Amerige Park.
