ANAHEIM -- The Orange County Legends are starting to show why they are the defending Sunset League champions. The Legends have now won seven of their last eight games including Saturday's 10-6 victory over the South Bay Sliders.

Orange County plated five runs in the second inning and cruised to the win.

Towns King (Samford) ripped three RBI. Ben Barth (Clarion) knocked in two and scored twice. Connor Montgomery (Northern Illinois) added two RBI and scored once.

Cody Wissler (Chico State) finished 3-for-4 with two RBI.

The Legends and Sliders do battle again Sunday in a doubleheader in Cerritos at Valley Christian.
