The So Cal Shepherds maintained their one game lead in the South Division with a doubleheader sweep of the Inland Valley Pirates Saturday night at Amerige Park.

In Game 1, the Shepherds edged the Pirates 4-3.

Alex Escobar (Whittier College) was electric, tossing five no-hit innings to go along with four strikeouts.

Maaki Yamazaki (Hawaii), Ethan Lopez (Hawaii), Austin Caulk and Chad Ragland (Delta State) knocked in one RBI.

Inland Valley got one RBI from Michael Rosales (Mt. Sac), Hayden Schott (Cypress College) and Spencer Serven (Cypress College).

In Game 2, the Shepherds earned an 8-6 victory.

Garrett McIntyre (Ashbury University) led the way with three RBI. Colton Back (Ashbury University) produced two RBI.

Isaiah Montoya (Citrus College) blasted a home run and three RBI.

Inland Valley travels to play the South Bay Sliders on Sunday.

So Cal has a road contest with the Orange County Legends on Sunday.
