Clark Field Closed

We are sorry to announce Clark Field has been closed indefinitely.  Yesterday as the Cage Rats were about to start the game vs the OC Legends, the Long Beach City Officials contacted the school and put an end to the game.  They threatened the school would be hit with a hefty fine if they didn't close everything down.  Even though the Cage Rats had followed the SBL COVID-19 policy, by taking everyone's temperature, not allowing any spectators and all were keeping 6 feet social distance.

When the City of Long Beach came in and stopped the game from happening, both teams and the players were extremely disappointed.  Joe Magno spoke to both teams and he said "I could see it in their eyes how disappointed and upset they were." " It was so disheartening to see these young men so excited to play and being told they can't."

I would like to thank Joe Magno for all his hard work in making sure the facility and everyone attending was safe.  I'd like to thank Saint Anthony's for allowing the Cage Rats for using the facility.  It's unfortunate the day before Independence Day that we lost the independence to play baseball at Clark Field.
