The Sunset Baseball League is proud to announce the addition of four new franchises for the 2021 season.

The Inland Valley Bucs join the newly formed Best of the West division. The Bucs bring a stellar track record of competitive baseball. The program was founded in 2014.

Players have come from far and wide to play for the Bucs. In fact, some schools represented have included Cal State Fullerton, Coppin State, Fordham, Hawaii, Houston Baptist, Lamar, Long Beach State, Louisiana Tech, Loyola Marymount, Oregon, Pepperdine, Texas Tech, UC Irvine and UC Riverside.

The Arroyo Seco Sentinels will join the Sunset League. They are led by Nico Calderaro. He's currently the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Pasadena City College.  The Sentinels bring a great tradition to the SBL and should compete for a league title immediately.

The East LA Dodgers are led by Leo Gutierrez. The Dodgers program is one of the longer running programs in Southern California starting in 1997.

The Ventura County Bucs will join the Sunset League as well. The Bucs are part of a high quality organization and should make their presence felt this season.

The 2021 season is under two months away, and should be the best yet. The league has grown to 14 teams in 2021.
