SBL 2021 Schedule Released

The 2021 Sunset Baseball League schedule has been announced. The league will look a little different in 2021 with two divisions and 14 total teams. The league has grown from six teams to 14 and is thrilled to unveil some of the key games to look forward to for the summer.

The divisions will be separated as Best of the West and the Sunset League. The Inland Valley Pirates, Inland Valley Bucs, Long Beach Legends, So Cal Shepherds and Ventura County Pirates will make up the Best of the West. The Sunset League features the Arroyo Seco Sentinels, California Cage Rats, East LA Dodgers, Orange County Legends, Orange County Pirates, Signal Hill Oilers, South Bay Sliders, Trosky Redbirds and Ventura County Bucs.

The So Cal Shepherds will open the season on the road on Saturday, June 12th against the East LA Dodgers. The game is set for 6 p.m. at East Los Angeles College. This will be a non-conference matchup.

The Sentinels open their season on Sunday, June 13th against the Shepherds at 1 p.m.

The first full day of games is Tuesday, June 15th. The OC Pirates, Signal Hill Oilers, Trosky Redbirds, California Cage Rats, Orange County Legends, South Bay Sliders and Ventura County Pirates all start their season that day. The VC Bucs get their season underway the following day.

The Long Beach Legends kick their season off Saturday, June 19th, the Inland Valley Bucs are in action Sunday, June 20th and the Inland Valley Pirates open up their season Tuesday, June 22nd.

The Sunset League looks forward to yet another exciting summer of baseball and is ecstatic to give players the opportunity to get back on the field.
