Sentinels Erase 8-Run Deficit

LA HABRA -- The Arroyo Seco Sentinels (1-0) overcame an eight run deficit against the So Cal Shepherds (0-2) Sunday afternoon.

The Shepherds led 8-0 after two innings, but the Sentinels rebounded to win 10-8, breaking an 8-8 tie in the 8th inning.

Colin Spranger (Ohio Wesleyan) finished 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored, including the game-winning knock in the 8th inning. Bodie Parker (Cerritos) blasted a three-run home run.

Andrew White (Azusa Pacific) was electric in three innings, striking out six and only allowing one hit for the Shepherds. Connor Aldrich (Charleston Southern) and Jackson LoBianco (Shippensburg) each reached base three times (one hit and two walks).

The Shepherds take the field again on Tuesday against the OC Pirates.

The Sentinels next game will be Wednesday against the OC Pirates.
