ANAHEIM -- The Signal Hill Oilers defeated the Orange County Legends 8-3 Wednesday at Brookhurst Park.

The Oilers (4-2-1) scored seven in the third inning and cruised the rest of the way.

Eric Diaz (West LA) and Noah Ford (Compton JC) ripped two RBI each. Reed Passmore (LBCC) was sensational on the mound. Passmore tossed five innings, allowed just three hits and no runs with three strike outs.

The Legends were led by Drew Barragan's (Emery Riddle) two hits.

The Oilers face the South Bay Sliders on Thursday.

Orange County (2-5, 2-7) will meet the Long Beach Legends on Friday.
