CYPRESS -- The OC Pirates defeated the Ventura County Buccaneers 4-3 Thursday at Cypress College.

Ventura County jumped out to a 3-0 lead by the third inning, but the Pirates scored four unanswered runs to win.

Travis Hobbensiefken (Mt. SAC) and Elias Rios (Fullerton College) each had one RBI. Tyler Chaffee (Saddleback) went 2-for-2.

The Pirates (6-0, 7-1-2) play a non-league game against the Palm Springs Power on Friday.

The Bucs (3-3, 5-5) will play the Orange County Legends on Saturday.
