The Sunset League is proud to unveil its first ever Best of the West division players of the week.

Wyatt Johnson (CSU Fullerton) was electric on the mound for the Inland Valley Pirates. The Freshman tossed seven innings, allowed just two hits, one run, struck out 12 and earned a save.

Nathan Barraza (CSUN) is a co-hitter of the week. The Inland Valley Buccaneer finished the first week 6-for-11 with two RBI, two runs scored and three stolen bases.

Darren Taylor (Chaffey College) is the other hitter of the week. The Ventura County Pirate had a stellar week, finishing 7-for-16 with two home runs, five RBI and four runs scored.
