LA HABRA -- The So Cal Shepherds defeated the Long Beach Legends 5-3 Saturday at Whittier Christian.

Gabe Falcone (Asbury University) had two hits and two RBI. Emry Jackson (Mount Olive) also tallied two knocks.

Anthony McFarland (UC Riverside) crushed a home run for the Legends.

Roy Washburn (Arizona Christian) earned the win. He tossed seven innings, struck out nine and allowed two runs.

The Shepherds (2-5) face the Inland Valley Pirates next on Monday.

The Legends (4-3) take on the Trosky Red Birds on Monday.
