The Arroyo Seco Royals held a one-run lead and were 12 outs away from a Sunset League championship in the second game of a best-of-three series with the Field Rats.
But the visitors got six runs in the top of the sixth inning and three more in the eighth to defeat the Royals, 11-6, and even the series at 1-1.
They got two runs on two hits and four walks off Josh VerKuilen, five runs on four hits and three walks against Evan Zesati, and three more versus Daniel Vega on two hits and a walk.
Joey DeFrancisco walked twice, homered, scored twice and had two RBIs.
Daniel Esqueda doubled, scored and drove in a run.
Justin Nock singled twice, drove in a pair of runs and scored.
TK Parker walked three times, singled, scored and had an RBI.

Eddie Vokes went five innings for the Field Rats and allowed six runs (three earned) on six hits.

Shawn Hepler went two scoreless and hitless innings, didn’t issue a walk and struck out two ASR batters.
Kyle Tiffin allowed one hit and walked three in one inning of work, but he escaped without any damage.
