The Inland Valley Pirates have a storied history in a short amount of time including finishing as the runners-up in last season’s SBL and making it to the NBC World Series in 2015.

This year will be another strong year for Inland Valley led by manager Cody Yates of Hope International. A host of returning players include: Jake Bryant (Redlands), Brendan Campbell (La Verne), Zack Cooper (Belmont Abbey), Jake Geck, Andre Henson (Cal Poly Pomona), Jahshua Jones (Holy Names), Justin Katz (Hawaii Hilo), Jacob Taylor (La Sierra) Alberto Vargas and Hayden Wright.

New contributors from Cal Poly Pomona include: Chris Burnett (RHP), Michael Gomez (RHP), Cade Kirkemo (LHP), Matt Manskar (IF), and Dylan McDowell (1B).

The Pirates open their season on Friday, June 2 and get two big measuring stick games against Southern Nevada (June 3) and the OC Riptide (June 4). Their first SBL game will be played at Concordia University on Thursday, June 8 at 11 a.m. against the SBL defending champion OC Surf in a rematch of last year’s championship tilt.
