The Solana Beach Cardinals (1-1, 1-0) defeated the Inland Valley Pirates (2-3-1, 1-1) 7-0 Friday night at Cal Poly Pomona.

Robert Delamontaigne was the star of the day finishing 4-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

James Harwell and Cole Heavilin each added two RBI. Ari Gerber scored twice.

Both teams are back in action on Saturday. The Cardinals will host the Pirates at Coronado High School at 11 a.m. The game will be broadcast live on our air!
