The 2017 Sunset Baseball League all-star selections were announced earlier today. The division leading Ventura County Pirates and Solana Beach Cardinals each led the way with nine selections. The Inland Valley Pirates and OC Surf each got seven selections, while the South Bay Sparrows and OC Orioles got five apiece.

The All-Star Game is set for Thursday, July 6 at 7 p.m. with a home run derby scheduled immediately before at 5:45 p.m.
