The Inland Valley Pirates crept closer to the Ventura County Pirates in the North Division standings with a 14-9 victory at Cal Poly Pomona against the OC Surf Monday night.

Dylan McDowell belted a home run, 3 RBI and scored twice. Hayden Wright and Isaiah Carreon each knocked in two RBI. Michael Pinero and Alberto Vargas each scored twice.

Nick Bates and Justin Mellano each had two RBI for the Surf.
