The SBL has announced its final players of the week for the 2017 season. They are Phil Steering (OC Surf) and Carter Cummins (South Bay Sparrows).

Carter Cummins was electric on the mound, tossing six innings and only allowing two hits against the South Division Champion Solana Beach Cardinals. He earned the win and struckout five as the Sparrows shutout the Cardinals.

Phil Steering has had another amazing season from the plate and this past week, he finished 8-for-14 with three RBI and three runs scored. Steering is batting an uncanny .511 this season.
