Long Beach -- The Long Beach Legends (2-0) started their 2018 campaign in style tossing a no-hitter against 360 Baseball Saturday at Long Beach City College.

The Legends cruised to a 12-0 victory behind five pitchers.

Grant King (Cal Baptist), Garrett Rennie (Long Beach City College), Julien Martin (Grambling State), Austin Spinney (Cypress College) and Jacob Gregg (Long Beach City College) contributed to the storied program's first ever no-no.

The Legends followed that up with a 12-5 win on Sunday afternoon against the South Bay Saints behind a Jake Scott (Houston Baptist) bomb and a stellar day at the dish by Ricardo Serrano (CSU Dominguez Hills) who had two knocks and scored three times.

Long Beach hosts the Ventura Halos next on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and then travel to northern California for a two-game set against Top Speed.
