LONG BEACH -- The Long Beach Legends (10-4, 7-0) defeated the Inland Valley Pirates (3-5, 3-3) 11-5 Tuesday afternoon at Long Beach City College.

The Pirates led 5-1 heading to the bottom of the 7th, but that's when a legendary nine-run frame ensued for Long Beach.

Jake Scott (Houston Baptist) blasted a home run, three RBI and scored twice.

Rylie Dent (Valparaiso) provided three base hits, three RBI and scored once.

Rafeeq Rahim (Pierce College) and Connor Montgomery (Northern Illinois) each had two RBI and scored once.

For Inland Valley, Nathan Luna (Bethesda) went 2-for-3 with two RBI and scored once.

The Pirates host Solana Beach on Thursday.

The next Legends SBL game will be Thursday against the Sparrows.
