FULLERTON -- The North defeated the South 5-4 in 10 innings Wednesday night at Amerige Park.

The North fell behind 4-0. Grant Askins (Sparrows) crushed a three-run home run.

But the North got all four runs back in the seventh inning. It started with a bang. Two-time SBL player of the week Ellis Stevens (VC Pirates) belted a two run home run. Stevens finished the day 3-3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored and earned the All-Star Game MVP.

Zachary Rivas (Oilers) came through with the clutch game-tying single.

David Rivera (Oilers) ripped the game-winning single up the middle in the 10th to clinch the victory for the North.

Chase Ambrose (Legends) earned the win pitching the final two innings and striking out four. Ambrose showcased why he's been untouchable this season (he has a 0.00 ERA!)

Before the All-Star Game, the Home Run Derby was a hit. Jake Scott (Legends) blasted eight long balls en route to the win.
