Long Beach Looking for Legendary 2018

In six years, the Long Beach Legends have become one of the most well-respected, well-known, and best-run summer baseball teams in the Southern California area. Coach Rodriguez and his refined coaching style demands excellence from his players, while keeping an upbeat and positive mindset at all times. This allows players to grow and develop rapidly in the Legends environment.

Coach Rodriguez  has found immediate success in Southern California collegiate summer baseball. After dominating various leagues around the area since 2012, the program now competes on the national level.

New to the Sunset League in 2018 are the Long Beach Legends. The program, run by Jonathan Rodriguez has quickly become one of the most well-respected and well-known programs in California. The Legends perennially have one of the best squads on the west coast and have competed for and won titles in the past. 

This season, they will feature 10 Division 1 players: Rylie Dent (Valparaiso), Brett Wells (Dayton), Jake Scott (Houston Baptist), Derek Reilly (Houston Baptist), Matt McGeagh (Penn), Colton Hector (Holy Cross), Keaton Freire (Wagner), Connor Montgomery (Northern Illinois), Riley Livingston (Holy Cross), and Julien Martin (Grambling State).
