The Ventura County Pirates Baseball Club is a high caliber and high quality organization in the Southern California region. Our program is coached by skilled and knowledgeable former collegiate and current MLB Scouts, dedicated to developing our players into high caliber collegiate athletes. We specialize in developmental baseball instruction for athletes wishing to compete at a higher level. We strive to help our athletes reach their personal and athletic goals and to prepare them to compete at Collegiate levels.

Our Goal is Simple: It is to develop student athletes of success and integrity. We strive to help our players serve as positive members of their team. We strive to instill a positive attitude in our athletes so they are willing to recognize the importance of mental and physical growth in the development of their baseball skills. We try to help our athletes reach their full baseball potential and meet their own personal goals.

VC Pirates Win Sunset League Championship

FULLERTON -- The Ventura County Pirates swept the championship series, running away with a 20-3 victory Sunday afternoon over the Solana Beach Redbirds at Cal State Fullerton.

The Pirates earn their first ever Sunset League Championship.

There were plenty of stars to go around for the Pirates. Cole Kitchen (Santa Clara) went 2-for-2 with four RBI. Emilio Morales (USC) added three RBI. Nick Henry (College of the Canyons) and Jason Ajamian (LA Valley College) each plated two runs. Hunter Konechy-Pena finished 4-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

Pirates Win Game 1

FULLERTON -- The Ventura County Pirates defeated the Solana Beach Redbirds 4-1 Saturday night at Cal State Fullerton. The win moves the Pirates one step closer to claiming their first ever Sunset League Championship.

Deandrey Carter (LA Valley College) was electric, tossing seven innings, striking out seven and earning the win.

Jason Ajamian (LA Valley College) finished 2-for-4 with two RBI. Eddie Pietschmann (Chaffey College) and Nick Henry (College of the Canyons) each contributed one RBI.

Gaige Howard (University of New Orleans) knocked in one RBI for the Redbirds.

Game 2 is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Cal State Fullerton.
